'Born in Bavaria - worn around the world': From 1921 until today, Hanwag has stood for Bavarian craftsmanship combined with sophisticated technical know-how and continuous innovation. Hanwag has always been producing high quality mountain and trekking shoes at its headquarters in Vierkirchen, Bavaria. All Hanwag models, which are not 'zwiegenäht' in old craftmanship, are made in 'gezwickter' style. This guarantees that all Hanwag models can be re-soled and therefore accompany their wearers at every turn for a particularly long time.

Regional Association for Nature Conservation and Sustainable development (BROZ) focuses on practical nature conservation and sustainable development mainly in the region of Western Slovakia with the head office in Bratislava.
Our activities, which we bring into effect mostly within the NATURA 2000 area include protection and restoration of valuable natural sites and habitats of rare and endangered species. In recent years, we have managed to restore several Danube river branches and also recreate the last preserved island Veľkolélsky ostrov on the Danube river, valuable meadows in the White Carpathians and at Devínska Kobyla, salt marshes in Southern Slovakia and we also contributed to the protection of urban species such as the Swift.
In cooperation with partners from the Czech Republic, Austria and Hungary we have implemented several successful crossborder projects.
BROZ has earned significant reputation in the fields of nature rehabilitation and species conservation.
